Tool management is one of the services the LMT Group offers. Tool services are provided by very different service sectors, and are to a large exent designed to match the customer's individual requirements. The range of services extends from easily installed automatic tool dispensers such as the eboy, througt KanBan supply systems, up to customer-specific Complete Care Models.
Any combination of our offers can, of course, be provided. The combination of a KanBan system with the eboy is quite common. Tools whose consumption rate exceeds a certain limit are dispensed by the eboy close to the production machines. The point of this method is that it minimizes transport costs as well as tool dispensing and waiting times.
Supply of other tools is implemented through a KanBan picking store.
Integration with the LMT grinding service ensures that both systems are
regularly topped up. It means that, in addition to the first-class preparation
of used tools, there is regular contact between LMT and the customer.
